They provide services such as fertility evaluations, pregnancy management, assisted reproductive techniques, semen collection and evaluation, artificial insemination, breeding soundness exams, and management of reproductive diseases. Veterinary Theriogenologists work with companion animals, livestock, and performance animals depending on their practice focus. In the USA, they must hold state licensure and typically achieve board certification through the American College of Theriogenologists (ACT).
