Callum Browse
Founder & CEO
Callum is the founder and CEO of Tempus International. After completing university, he worked as a sales rep for a couple of independent companies before entering the world of recruitment in 2015. In the words of Callum ‘you either catch the recruitment bug or you don’t’ but thankfully for him, he did.
In 2018, he founded Tempus International and started trading as Tempus Veterinary Recruitment across the United Kingdom. Fast forward to 2024 and the company has expanded from a team of 1 to a team of 15, split between our UK division, USA division and support staff and he has no plans of slowing down any time soon.
As CEO, his role is managing the overall operations and resources of the company across the UK and USA. Callum has clients who he’s known since joining the industry and see’s recruitment as a ‘people business’ and loves the fact he’s built lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike.
Gerry Bowden-Thomson
Director of Veterinary Recruitment – USA Division
Gerry came onboard in July 2020 as the first Recruitment Consultant in our USA Division, having previously worked within the HR industry across numerous sectors. However, since joining, Gerry has been instrumental in establishing Tempus Recruitment in the USA market and has quickly progressed through the company.
As well as handling our recruitment efforts across the Southeast states, Gerry now leads our USA Division and works closely with the CEO to establish the direction of the business. He has a talent for connecting with candidates and clients alike, and to this day, he still believes the feeling of finding a candidate their perfect role, or helping a client find their next superstar, is unlike any other.
Outside of work, Gerry is a sporting fanatic! Whether its playing tennis in a local league or beating the rest of his team at go-karting, this is where his competitive side comes out!
Abby Hoffman
Senior Recruitment and Development Lead
Abby joined Tempus Recruitment in February 2022 and has quickly become an integral part of the team. Before joining Tempus, she spent several years living in Fuzhou, China, where she worked as an English teacher. Prior to that, Abby studied English Language and Linguistics at the University of Essex.
As Senior Recruiter and Development Lead, Abby brings a wealth of knowledge not only to her role but to the entire team. Her approachable nature, professionalism, and effectiveness as a recruiter has no doubt played a vital role in her growth within the USA Division.
Abby has a deep passion for travel and exploring new cultures, having already visited over 30 countries. Married to an American, she also brings an expert understanding of all things USA, a perspective that proves invaluable in her work.
Stacey Pearse
Recruitment Consultant
Stacey joined Tempus Recruitment in April 2022. She previously worked as a HR Business Partner within an in-house recruitment team for 2 years before taking the leap into recruiting veterinarians across the USA.
With a personality like no other, Stacey loves taking part in the Veterinary conventions across the USA where both clients and candidates have instantly connected with her.
When asked why she made the decision to move into the Veterinary sector she said ‘I felt like I needed a change in my career. I have never worked in agency recruitment before and the challenge excited me! The fact that it was veterinarians in America made it even better! I have always had a love for animals so talking to veterinarians whose job it is to look after animals day in and day out meant I could merge my love for animals with my job and speak to like-minded people’.
Vicki Gerry
Recruitment Consultant
We welcomed Vicki to Tempus in September 2022, and she has been a valued member of the team ever since. After spending over 10 years in the banking industry, Vicki took a bold leap into the world of recruitment, specialising in placing DVMs across the East Coast and she hasn’t looked back since.
From the moment Vicki stepped into the office, her personality and love for dogs made her a perfect fit for the team. She thrives on the variety her role brings, with no two days ever being the same.
In her spare time, Vicki loves to spend time with her family and friends, whether this is out and about for walks or just catching up over dinner. Vicki also loves to travel and tries to get away on a sneaky holiday as many times as she can.
Evie Godwin
Recruitment Consultant
After finishing college in June 2023, Evie started her career here at Tempus. She is the youngest recruiter in our office but has taken to the industry as though she was made for it.
What we love about Evie is that there was no hesitation when it came to getting ‘stuck in’. She’s already travelled with the team to various shows and client visits and has loved the dynamic of talking and meeting with clients and candidates face to face.
It’s certainly no secret that Evie is a snacker so whether you’re after chocolate, crackers, popcorn, she’s got your covered. In her spare time, Evie likes to stay active and enjoys spending time at the gym. She’s a social butterfly and loves seeing friends, whether that’s going to the beach or having a catch up over a cheeky little drink.
Clark Hale
Recruitment Consultant
Clark joined Tempus in February 2025. After spending the past three years living in Malta and working as an Account Manager, he decided to move back home and thankfully, he found us!
A keen traveller, Clark won’t be a stranger at veterinary conferences. He brings a wealth of experience from working across multiple industries and has even spent some time building a house. Despite this being his first role in recruitment, you would never guess it from the professionalism and enthusiasm he brings to the team.
Outside of work, Clark keeps busy with football, live music, puzzles, and more. That said, we do feel the need to keep a close eye on him though as he’s broken over 50 bones, thanks to growing up on a skateboard. So if you see him on one, maybe think twice before letting him ride!
Sian Goss
Recruitment Consultant
Sian is our newest team member. She joined us in March 2025 and like many others in our team, she is fresh into recruitment (but you wouldn’t know it!). Sian has two beautiful dogs; a Labrador named Penny and a Husky named Bear so weekend adventures with these two are key!
Prior to joining Tempus, Sian spent most of her time working in funeral care across various roles, so the leap into recruitment has been quite the change but one she’s fully embraced.
Outside of work Sian loves to read which is the perfect down time hobby for life in recruitment. We also spotted a strong competitive streak early on which we love, so it’ll be interesting to see how she fares in our competitive team quizzes and activities.
Jake Gordon
Recruitment Support Assistant
Jake is one of the youngest members in our office. He came on board in June 2024 to support our USA Division and has dived in head first into recruitment; having already travelled and assisting us with veterinary conferences. He’s bought a whole new vibe to the team which we love, as well as stories of his gorgeous little Cockapoo called Monty.
Jake very much enjoys outdoor sports such as surfing and skiing so when it came to him joining in the first team day out (which was Go Karting) he beat everyone! There was certainly no holding back and we love someone with a competitive streak.
As well as enjoying outdoor sports, Jake enjoys learning a new skill and as such, has taught himself to speak Italian! Very cool indeed.
Joe Robertson – Vousden
Recruitment Support Assistant
Joe is the newest addition to our ever-growing team here at Tempus, and we’re delighted to have him on board. Fortunately for us, Joe is tech-savvy and enjoys learning which is music to our ears. He has long had an interest in recruitment, making this a perfect fit for both him and the team. With his calm manner and love of coffee, Joe has settled into team life with ease.
Outside of work, Joe has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys mountain biking. He also has a knack for fixing things – whether its a computer, a car or even a park bench, if it’s broken, Joe will do everything he can to put it right, making him something of an honorary office handyman!
At home, Joe is kept busy by his pets; a dog named Taz (like the Tasmanian Devil), a gorgeous ginger cat called Masie, and an African tortoise named Bill.
Ryan Hoffman
Business Support Assistant
Ryan joined Tempus in April 2023, initially supporting the UK team with administrative operations. Having grown up in the United States, he brings a valuable transatlantic perspective to the role, and we feel very lucky to have someone with first-hand knowledge of both sides of the pond as part of the Tempus family.
An Excel expert through and through, Ryan spends much of his time diving into spreadsheets, streamlining processes, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes of the team. His attention to detail and technical know-how makes him an invaluable support to the wider team.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and can often be found on the golf course, squeezing in a round or two whenever he gets the chance.
Samantha Atkinson
Accounts Assistant
Samantha, our Accounts Assistant, joined Tempus in April 2023 and, quite honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without her. She plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly.
After taking a career break to raise and spend quality time with her two sons, Samantha returned to the working world and we’re so glad she found us. She has been gradually increasing both her workload and the number of days she spends in the office, which is fantastic news for us, as her impact is immediately felt whenever she’s away.
Outside of her role, Samantha has a real passion for baking and is well known for occasionally treating the team to a homemade cake or two (something we will never say no to!). She’s also our resident organisation queen, with a love for label makers and all things tidy, so it comes as no surprise that her desk is always impeccably organised.
Daisey-May Browse
Chief Marketing Officer
Daisey has technically been part of the Tempus family since the very beginning, officially joining the team in 2022. With a background spanning both the corporate sector and the hospitality industry, she brings a broad range of management experience to her role. Today, Daisey oversees Tempus’s Marketing and Social Media, where her creativity and organisational skills come together to shape and manage our brand presence.
After welcoming her daughter in July 2023, Daisey took a year away from work and returned to Tempus with a fresh perspective. She is now settling into the new and ever-evolving balance of parenthood and professional life.
A creative soul at heart, Daisey also has a love for organisation and baking. And with brownies being her speciality, these often make a welcome appearance in the office because, let’s be honest, who really needs a reason to eat cake?
