Introduction
Our client is a practice looking to hire an Equine Surgeon on either a full-time or part-time basis. Established in 1992, this well-established referral and ambulatory equine practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional equine medical and surgical care to a diverse clientele, including hunter/jumpers, dressage horses, western performance horses, racehorses, breeding operations, pleasure horses, and beloved companions. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team providing advanced surgical care within a respected equine referral practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Equine Surgeon responsibilities, providing advanced surgical care for a diverse equine referral caseload. You will perform a wide range of surgical procedures while working closely with fellow clinicians to develop comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to each patient. The position involves managing surgical cases from initial assessment through treatment and postoperative care, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care, and maintaining clear communication with clients and referring veterinarians throughout the treatment process. Specific working hours will be discussed further. This opportunity is suited to board-certified or residency-trained Equine Surgeons.

Practice Details
The practice is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing continuous support for equine patients and clients. The practice offers advanced diagnostic imaging, surgical services, hospitalization, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and ambulatory care, delivering comprehensive equine veterinary services across a diverse caseload. The clinic is equipped with, but not limited to, a large range of advanced diagnostic equipment, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care.

Team
You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
