Our client is a veterinary hospital in Columbus, Ohio, seeking a Veterinary Surgeon or an individual who has completed surgical residency training. The hospital treats a wide range of species and provides high-quality emergency and specialty care. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates with a full clinical schedule to support emergency and specialty services, with specific doctor hours determined according to departmental needs. The role is full-time and aligned with the hospital’s high-volume surgical and critical care caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Surgical Veterinarian will focus on providing advanced surgical care within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include performing surgeries, supporting anesthesia and critical care, and collaborating with specialists across disciplines. Candidates are expected to thrive in a high-volume, high-acuity setting, and the role is open to experienced surgeons or those with completed surgical residency training.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and features a state-of-the-art surgery, procedural, and anesthesia suite, a dedicated endoscopy/procedure room, and a spacious pre-operative area for centralized anesthesia care. Services offered span anesthesia and pain management, avian and exotics, cardiology, critical care, dentistry and oral surgery, dermatology, emergency medicine, integrative medicine, internal medicine, interventional radiology, medical oncology, neurology and neurosurgery, ophthalmology, radiation oncology, radiology, rehabilitation, sports medicine, surgery, and urgent care. The culture emphasizes high-quality patient care and collaboration among a multidisciplinary team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
