Our client is a hospital located in Fishers, Indiana, hiring for a board-certified Surgeon to join their multi-disciplinary specialty and emergency practice. This advanced referral center serves a wide regional area and is home to an extensive team of specialists, offering high-level care in a collaborative environment. The position is within a non-privately owned hospital.
Working Hours / Rota

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Surgeon will collaborate with an experienced team of two other full-time surgeons, supported by a comprehensive referral base and a broad array of in-house specialists. Practice Details
The facility spans 30,000 square feet and includes cutting-edge equipment such as a 1.5 Tesla MRI, 64-slice CT scanner, linear accelerator, fluoroscopy, two digital radiology suites, ultrasound units, full endoscopy capabilities, YAG laser, and neurological electrodiagnostic tools. A full rehabilitation service with two underwater treadmills is also available. The hospital features 16 exam rooms and dedicated treatment spaces for each department. The practice holds a strong reputation for specialty and emergency care and offers access to a large, integrated network of over 80 VCA specialty hospitals and 400+ boarded specialists nationwide.
Team
The surgical department includes three full-time surgeons and is supported by specialists in Internal Medicine, Radiology, Radiation and Medical Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Nutrition, and Physical Rehabilitation. A 24-hour emergency department staffed by nine full-time ER doctors provides additional support. The working environment is highly collaborative and team-oriented, with a focus on excellence in patient outcomes and cross-disciplinary communication.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
