Introduction
Our client is a specialty and emergency hospital seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. The hospital provides care for small animals and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role focuses on surgical responsibilities within a specialty and emergency environment, with the opportunity to contribute to and help expand surgical services. The position is suited to an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, working alongside a collaborative team to manage complex cases and support high standards of patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is equipped with advanced medical technology including ultrasonography, digital radiography with board-certified radiologist review, endoscopy equipment, and computed tomography (CT). The facility offers specialty and emergency services including internal medicine, critical care, diagnostic imaging, and endoscopy, supporting the management of complex cases and urgent conditions. The hospital is certified with VECCS, CVMA, the American Veterinary College of Internal Medicine, and ACVECC. The practice promotes a progressive, collaborative, and compassionate approach to care, working closely with primary veterinarians to deliver seamless and high-quality treatment, supported by a strong referral base and a focus on professional growth and development.

Team
The hospital is supported by a strong, tenured team of experienced veterinary professionals, including 5 board-certified veterinarians, highly trained technicians, assistants, client service representatives, caretakers, and management staff. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on continuous learning and development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
