Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their 24-hour specialty and emergency referral team in Upland, California. This role is ideal for a board-certified or residency-trained surgeon who values collaboration, clinical excellence, and delivering compassionate care in a modern, well-equipped facility.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates seven days a week, providing 24/7 emergency care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The surgeon will perform a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures and manage surgical cases referred by local veterinarians and internal departments. The position involves collaboration with emergency and critical care teams and is open to experienced candidates who are confident working in a high-paced specialty environment.
Practice Details
The newly renovated facility includes advanced diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG telemetry, and a full in-house laboratory. A Class II NuAire Biosafety Cabinet and on-site pharmacy further support case management. The hospital provides comprehensive specialty and emergency services and maintains a reputation for transparency, quality, and client trust.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
