Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour, AAHA-accredited hospital seeking an experienced, board-certified Veterinary Surgeon to join their team within a large, multi-specialty environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates around the clock, supporting 24/7 patient care. Specific doctor hours and flexibility regarding full- or part-time status are not detailed, allowing for adaptable scheduling based on hospital needs and candidate availability.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The board-certified Veterinary Surgeon will lead a variety of advanced surgical procedures, including complex soft tissue and orthopedic cases. The role involves collaboration with specialists across departments, active participation in treatment planning, and ongoing case management through postoperative care. This position is best suited for an experienced surgeon who excels in a high-volume, specialty-driven hospital setting.
Practice Details
This 36,000-square-foot facility is equipped with cutting-edge surgical and diagnostic technology including digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, and a linear accelerator. The hospital supports a wide range of specialty services including ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, and medical oncology, and is home to a dedicated radiation oncology center led by an in-house radiation oncologist. The integrated use of advanced imaging and radiation therapy enhances the hospital’s surgical oncology capabilities.

The hospital is staffed by a large team of DVMs and board-certified specialists, supported by a tenured and skilled support staff. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
