Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving surgical service within a large emergency and specialty environment that supports dogs and cats. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced surgeon or a residency-trained individual who values collaboration, high-level communication, and working closely with colleagues, clients, and the referral community.

Working Hours / Rota
The emergency and specialty hospital operates 24/7. This position is full-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will contribute to a busy and expanding surgical service, providing high-quality oncologic, orthopedic, and soft tissue surgery. The role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to support excellent patient care across a wide range of surgical presentations. This position is open to experienced clinicians only.

The hospital is a modern 24,000-square-foot facility equipped with advanced technology to support comprehensive emergency and specialty services. Available specialties include cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology and neurosurgery, ophthalmology, radiology, radiation oncology, and surgery. Equipment includes state-of-the-art tools designed to deliver exceptional surgical and patient care. The culture is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on building trusting relationships with clients and referral partners, supported by certified technicians, assistants, and client service representatives.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
