Introduction
Our client is a specialty and emergency hospital seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will focus on advanced surgical procedures within a specialty and emergency environment, including minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive surgery, orthopedic procedures, and emergency surgery. Responsibilities include managing complex surgical cases, performing diagnostics and peri-operative care, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. This position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinarian.

Practice Details
This is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital spanning 18,000 sq. ft., offering services in internal medicine, surgery, neurology, cardiology, and emergency care. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including a 1.5T MRI, on-site CT, endoscopy and laparoscopy equipment, multiple ultrasounds, fluoroscopy, laser therapy, underwater treadmill, and advanced anesthetic and peri-operative monitoring systems. The facility includes 15 exam rooms, 4 surgical suites, and oxygen cages to support critical care. The practice delivers a high caseload of referral and emergency cases and emphasizes a collaborative, team-based approach among specialists to provide comprehensive and advanced patient care.

Team
The team consists of 14 DVMs supported by a tenured support team, creating a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering high-quality specialty care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
