Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary care and is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This large, well-established referral center delivers advanced surgical and specialist services supported by cutting-edge technology and a highly collaborative clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will deliver advanced surgical care, including procedures such as minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive surgery, orthopedic surgery, and emergency surgery. Responsibilities include managing complex surgical cases, utilizing advanced anesthetic and peri-operative monitoring, performing diagnostics and biopsies, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position is open to experienced veterinarians as well as board-certified or residency-trained surgeons.

Practice Details
This is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital spanning 18,000 sq. ft, offering a wide range of specialty services including internal medicine, surgery, neurology, cardiology, and emergency care. The facility is equipped with advanced technology such as a 1.5T MRI, on-site CT, endoscopy and laparoscopy equipment, multiple ultrasounds, fluoroscopy, laser technology, underwater treadmill, and advanced monitoring systems, alongside 15 exam rooms and 4 surgical suites. The hospital provides comprehensive surgical services including bone and joint surgery, minimally invasive procedures, reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, tissue biopsies, and emergency surgery, all within a collaborative, referral-based environment focused on high-quality patient care and continuous innovation.

Team
The team consists of 14 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a highly collaborative and specialist-driven working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
