Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary specialty and emergency hospital hiring for a Veterinary Surgeon. The hospital provides advanced specialty and emergency veterinary care for cats and dogs and serves Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Stuart, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will join a collaborative specialty environment as the third Veterinary Surgeon on the team.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. Specialty care hours operate Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The hospital also provides 24/7 emergency veterinary care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will provide advanced surgical care within a multi-disciplinary specialty hospital. The role involves working alongside board-certified specialists and an experienced emergency team while contributing to the hospital’s collaborative approach to patient care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care alongside advanced specialty services for cats and dogs. Services include critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, surgery, and orthopedics. The facility features an active I-131 therapy ward, ultrasound capabilities, Olympus endoscopy and fluoroscopy, high-definition laparoscopy, high-definition male and female cystoscopy, interventional radiology, and a diode laser. The hospital promotes innovation and collaboration and is open to incorporating additional technologies based on specialist input. The team prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care within a positive and supportive culture.

The hospital team includes 6 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and experienced working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
