Introduction
Our client is a fast-paced 24/7 emergency hospital that is hiring for a Residency Trained or Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats, dogs, and other small companion animals, providing critical care to a high-volume and diverse caseload within a collaborative emergency and specialty environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Veterinary Surgeon responsibilities within an emergency room environment. The successful candidate will manage a varied and complex caseload while delivering high-quality surgical and emergency patient care alongside effective client communication. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced surgeon who thrives in a dynamic environment, is confident making rapid clinical decisions, and values collaborative teamwork while delivering high-quality emergency medicine around the clock.
Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, an in-house laboratory and ultrasound technology. The practice also features state-of-the-art Snyder ICU units and a fully stocked blood bank with transfusion capability, supporting a highly advanced emergency and critical care environment. Services offered include high-flow oxygen therapy alongside a full scope of emergency and urgent care services.

Working alongside a dedicated paraprofessional staff, they foster a collaborative and efficient environment centred on teamwork, shared success, and outstanding patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
