Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Surgeon on either a full-time or part-time basis. This specialty and emergency hospital provides advanced care for cats and dogs and is looking for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join its collaborative team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will manage a diverse surgical caseload while delivering advanced care across a wide range of procedures. Responsibilities include emergency surgery, soft tissue surgery, bone and joint surgery, brain and spinal surgery, reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, hip dysplasia diagnosis and management, bone biopsies, tissue biopsies, and comprehensive peri-operative monitoring with advanced anesthetic monitoring and multimodal analgesia. You will work closely with specialists across multiple disciplines in a collaborative environment. This opportunity is suited to experienced veterinarians who are board-certified or residency-trained.

Practice Details
This 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital is Nebraska’s only full-time veterinary hospital dedicated to specialty and emergency medicine. The recently remodelled 17,000-square-foot facility includes 11 exam rooms, 4 operating rooms, a dedicated ICU with telemetry and a long-term ventilator, separate gastrointestinal and respiratory isolation wards, a supplementary step-down unit, comprehensive in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound units, video rigid and flexible endoscopy, a Stryker laparoscopy and arthroscopy tower, two digital radiography suites, helical CT, and on-site MRI. The hospital is certified by the Feline Veterinary Medical Association and offers Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Medical Oncology services. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
