Introduction
Our client is hiring a full-time Veterinary Surgeon. The hospital has been serving the Oklahoma City community for over 30 years and provides care for dogs, cats, and a wide variety of exotic animal species. This is an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive referral environment that combines advanced surgical capabilities, emergency medicine, and specialty care within a state-of-the-art facility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to undertake the full scope of Veterinary Surgeon responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced emergency and critical care veterinarians, specialists, and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), allowing for seamless collaboration throughout the surgical, medical, and post-operative process. This role is ideally suited to a board-certified or residency-trained surgeon seeking access to a diverse caseload, advanced facilities, and a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Practice Details
Operating 24/7, the hospital provides the full scope of GP services alongside advanced emergency, specialty, and wellness services designed to support critical care, surgical intervention, rehabilitation, and long-term patient health. Housed within a stunning 14,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, the hospital features nine exam rooms, a double surgery suite, a dedicated orthopedic surgery suite, a full in-house laboratory, ultrasound, radiology, a fully staffed 24/7 ICU, an in-house pharmacy, and the only pet-specific Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber in Oklahoma. Advanced diagnostic equipment includes, but is not limited to, a Vimago CT scanner, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house laboratory machines, and digital radiography, supporting the management of complex surgical and referral cases. Additional services include pet acupuncture, further enhancing the hospital’s comprehensive approach to patient care.

Team
You will join a multidisciplinary team of 14 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
