Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Veterinary Surgeon. This is a 24-hour emergency and full-service veterinary hospital providing advanced surgical care within a high-acuity clinical environment. The role is designed for an experienced surgeon seeking complex casework, advanced technology, and flexibility in scheduling, including options for full-time, part-time, or fly-in shift coverage.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility in scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is open to experienced veterinarians only. Clinical responsibilities focus on advanced surgical case management, including orthopedic, soft tissue, laparoscopic, arthroscopic, and emergency procedures. The Veterinary Surgeon is expected to manage complex surgical cases, collaborate closely with emergency and ICU teams, communicate clearly with clients, and uphold high standards of patient care within a fast-paced emergency and referral setting.

Practice Details
The hospital functions as a full-service emergency and surgical center, offering 24/7 emergency care alongside advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities. Equipment includes CT imaging, digital radiography, ultrasound, a complete in-house diagnostic laboratory, oxygen therapy, and continuous ECG monitoring in the ICU. Surgical resources include orthopedic systems for TPLO and fracture repair, laparoscopic and soft tissue surgery equipment, and arthroscopic systems for small joint procedures. Team
The hospital is supported by 14 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment with experienced veterinarians, nurses, and support staff dedicated to emergency, critical care, and advanced surgical medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
