Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a Veterinary Surgeon on either a full-time or part-time basis. This 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital provides advanced care for cats and dogs, treating over 100,000 patients annually. This is an outstanding opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained surgeon to join a high-volume referral hospital delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Medical Veterinary Surgeon responsibilities, providing advanced surgical care for a diverse referral caseload. You will evaluate surgical patients, develop comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans, perform a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, and oversee perioperative patient management from admission through recovery. You will work closely with emergency clinicians and specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver coordinated patient care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and client service. You will also communicate with referring veterinarians and pet owners throughout the treatment process to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes. Specific working hours will be discussed further. This opportunity is suited to board-certified or residency-trained veterinary surgeons.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing continuous emergency, urgent care, and specialty services. The practice provides the full scope of Emergency and Urgent Care services alongside specialties in Cardiology, Dentistry, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, and Rehabilitation, offering a diverse and complex referral caseload. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, on-site Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, I-131, and In-House Laboratories, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Facilities include an 18,000-square-foot hospital designed to support comprehensive specialty and emergency services. The practice is AAHA-accredited, reflecting its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine.

You will be joining a team of 42 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
