Introduction
A well-established veterinary hospital in Ketchum, Idaho is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced six-doctor team. This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or residency-trained surgeon looking to practice advanced surgery while working alongside an experienced team in a modern, well-equipped facility.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. Scheduling is structured to provide consistent access to care for patients while maintaining a balanced and sustainable workload for the veterinary team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will perform advanced surgical procedures and manage complex surgical cases while working collaboratively with the hospital’s veterinary and support teams. Responsibilities include conducting patient examinations and surgical workups, performing soft tissue and orthopedic procedures where applicable, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and communicating clearly with clients about treatment options and outcomes. The role also involves participating in case discussions, supporting hospital protocols, and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment focused on excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
