Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital specializing in orthopedic, sports medicine, and rehabilitation services and is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their established specialty team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regarded referral setting focused on advanced surgical and orthopedic care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility, with specific doctor hours and after-hours requirements not specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will focus on advanced surgical and orthopedic procedures within a specialty referral environment. Clinical responsibilities include delivering high-level orthopedic and sports medicine care, working with complex referral cases, and contributing to rehabilitation and regenerative treatment plans. The role also provides opportunities to be involved in research, teaching, clinical trials, and training programs such as internships and residencies. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, particularly those with board certification or advanced surgical training.

This is a well-established specialty hospital with a strong reputation in orthopedic and sports medicine care, originally founded in 2005 and recognized as a leading referral center. The facility is equipped with extensive orthopedic instrumentation, total hip replacement capabilities, multiple arthroscopic towers, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, and digital radiology suites. Additional facilities include a dedicated neurology center and comprehensive sports medicine and rehabilitation departments, with a focus on regenerative medicine, hydrotherapy, and conditioning. The hospital also supports ongoing education through research initiatives, lectures, workshops, and structured training programs.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and specialist-driven environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
