Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a referral-only, appointment-based specialty hospital for cats and dogs that is hiring a full-time Veterinary Surgeon. The ideal candidate enjoys a combination of orthopedic and soft tissue procedures. The current caseload is primarily orthopedic, with ongoing and increasing opportunities to perform soft tissue surgery.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of surgical responsibilities within a specialty referral setting. The successful candidate will manage a varied surgical caseload with a strong orthopedic focus alongside growing soft tissue surgery opportunities. The position offers a balanced four-day work week, structured with a mix of surgery and appointment days. This opportunity is open to board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeons.

Practice Details
The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology, including CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, arthroscopy capabilities, multiple surgery suites, dedicated surgical technicians, and two spacious, fully equipped operating rooms. It is a referral-only, appointment-based specialty hospital offering Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a well-trained support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
