Our client is a hospital that is hiring a Veterinary Surgeon on either a full-time or part-time basis. This 24/7 emergency, specialty, and general practice hospital has been serving the community since 1947, growing from a small family-run practice into a highly respected referral and emergency center while maintaining a collaborative and patient-focused environment. Caring for cats and dogs, this opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a well-established multidisciplinary hospital.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves undertaking the full scope of Veterinary Surgeon responsibilities within a highly advanced referral environment. The successful candidate will work alongside specialists, emergency clinicians, and general practitioners to deliver exceptional surgical care while contributing to the continued growth and success of the surgical service. This opportunity is suited to board-certified or residency-trained surgeons seeking access to advanced equipment, specialist collaboration, and a diverse caseload. Specific working hours are to be discussed.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing continuous emergency, specialty, and general practice care. Specialty services include Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care, alongside support from two ABVP Diplomates. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including, but not limited to, three Ultrasound units, video endoscopy, thoroscopy, laparoscopy and arthroscopy equipment, ventilators, advanced anesthetic and critical care monitoring devices, a 64-slice CT scanner, two Digital X-Ray units, Ligasure vessel sealing equipment, an In-House Laboratory, underwater and land treadmills, therapeutic laser, EMS, TENS, and complete blood products. Additional facilities include an Intensive Care Unit, In-Office Surgical Suite, and In-House Pharmacy. The hospital has maintained AAHA accreditation for over 50 years and houses a Fear Free Certified Professional. Additional services include pet boarding, nutritional counseling, pet grooming, and DNA breed testing.

Team
You will be joining a team of 9 veterinarians supported by a strong group of tenured support staff. The hospital brings together professionals from general practice, emergency medicine, and multiple specialties, including Diplomates in general practice, dermatology, cardiology, surgery, oncology, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and rehabilitation. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
