Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their 24/7 ER center. With robust referral relationships serving the Southern Atlanta community, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established specialty hospital caring for cats and dogs within a collaborative, referral-based environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Veterinary Surgeon responsibilities, managing a diverse surgical caseload while working closely with emergency clinicians and fellow specialists to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for evaluating surgical patients, developing treatment plans, performing a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, and collaborating across departments to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patients. The practice is seeking a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian who enjoys working within a progressive specialty setting. Flexible scheduling is available, providing an excellent work-life balance while supporting the needs of a busy referral hospital.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of Urgent Care, Emergency, and Specialty Care services and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since transitioning to a modern, well-equipped 14,000-square-foot facility in 2017, the hospital has continued to provide an advanced clinical environment for managing complex referral and emergency cases. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, Direct Digital Radiography, a CT Scanner, Ultrasound, and an In-House Laboratory, with additional facilities including an In-House Pharmacy to support efficient diagnostics, advanced surgical planning, and patient care. As an AAHA-accredited hospital, the practice is committed to maintaining exceptional clinical standards while providing specialists with the resources, technology, and collaborative environment needed to deliver outstanding surgical care.

Team
You will be joining a team of 7 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
