Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an animal hospital that is hiring for a Veterinary Surgeon. The hospital provides a combination of general practice and 24/7 emergency care within a state-of-the-art environment and is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and compassionate care supported by a longstanding presence in the community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24/7. This position can be full or part time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Clinical responsibilities include performing a wide range of surgical procedures, including soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgeries, collaborating with colleagues to develop treatment plans and ensure continuity of care, participating in continuing education, and providing mentorship and training to veterinary team members. This role is open to experienced clinicians only.

Practice Details
The hospital operates in a new approximately 8,000 sq ft location equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment. Equipment includes CT and advanced imaging technology. Facilities include comprehensive diagnostic areas and surgical spaces designed to support university-standard care. The hospital is dedicated to continuous education, training, and the use of the latest veterinary technology. Services offered include wellness memberships, pet diagnostics, CT scan, dental care, laser therapy, vaccinations, health certificates for international travel, and nutritional counseling.

Team
There are 11 DVMs and a great support team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
