Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. Providing 24/7 emergency and specialty care for cats and dogs, the hospital combines innovative treatment with compassionate guidance, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a progressive, multi-specialty referral environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Veterinary Surgeon responsibilities within a specialty of soft tissue, managing a varied surgical caseload while working closely with emergency clinicians and fellow specialists to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for evaluating surgical patients, developing treatment plans, performing a wide range of advanced soft tissue procedures, and collaborating across multiple disciplines to achieve the best possible outcomes. The practice is seeking an experienced Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon (Soft Tissue) or Residency Trained Veterinarian who enjoys working within a collaborative specialty setting. Flexible scheduling, including three to five-day work weeks, is available to provide an excellent work-life balance while supporting the demands of a busy referral hospital.

Practice Details
The hospital provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with specialty services available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, CT, MRI, and an on-site Antech reference laboratory, providing specialists with advanced diagnostic resources to support complex surgical cases. As an AAHA-accredited and VECCS Level II Certified facility, the hospital is committed to delivering exceptional standards of emergency and specialty medicine. Specialty services include Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Radiology, Radioactive Iodine Treatment, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Pain Management, and Soft Tissue Surgery, creating a highly collaborative referral environment. The addition of a brand-new second hospital further reflects the practice’s continued growth and provides exciting opportunities for professional development and future expansion.

Team
You will be joining a team of 17 DVMs within a supportive, multi-specialty environment, alongside dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
