Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Surgeon on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides specialist and emergency care for cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Surgeon to join a collaborative multi-specialty team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient care.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will work alongside an experienced team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff while collaborating closely with hospital leadership. The role focuses on providing advanced surgical care across a varied referral caseload, including orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, arthroscopy, total joint replacement and resurfacing, surgical oncology, minimally invasive procedures, interventional radiology, CT-guided procedures, and emergency surgery. This opportunity is suited to an experienced Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and building strong client relationships.
Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiology, a full in-house laboratory, CT scanner, I-131 treatment ward, and telemetry. Services include orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, arthroscopy, total joint replacement and resurfacing, surgical oncology, minimally invasive procedures, interventional radiology, CT scans, and emergency surgery. The hospital provides a collaborative specialist environment where experienced veterinary professionals work together to deliver advanced referral and emergency care.
Team
You will join a team of 7 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The collaborative environment encourages teamwork across multiple specialties, with experienced veterinary professionals working together to provide exceptional technical care, client service, and patient outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
