Introduction
Joining this practice means becoming part of a well-established team that has been delivering compassionate, personalised care to dogs, cats, and a handful of exotic pets since 1985. They’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on either a full-time or part-time basis, offering the opportunity to play a key role in developing the surgical service while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As the Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll take on the full scope of surgical responsibilities, managing a varied caseload and working closely with the rest of the clinical team to deliver excellent patient care. From assessing surgical candidates and creating treatment plans to performing advanced procedures and guiding clients through every stage of treatment, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact. This position is ideal for a board-certified Surgeon or residency-trained veterinarian who enjoys working collaboratively and wants the freedom to help shape how the surgical service grows. Working hours are flexible and can be discussed to suit the right candidate.

Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is closed on Sundays. Alongside providing the full scope of GP services, the hospital is equipped with an In-House Laboratory, Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental X-Ray, and Ultrasound, giving you the tools needed to manage a wide variety of cases with confidence. One of the standout features of this opportunity is the freedom you’ll have to choose the equipment, team, and systems needed to build a surgical service that reflects your clinical approach. In addition to its veterinary services, the practice also offers pet grooming and Laser Therapy, creating a comprehensive service for its clients.

Team
You’ll be joining a team of 5 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who genuinely care about delivering exceptional patient care. The leadership team is invested in helping its veterinarians succeed, creating a collaborative environment where communication, teamwork, and professional growth are part of everyday practice. It’s a supportive team that works together to provide outstanding care while maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
