Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a multi-specialty hospital hiring for a Veterinary Surgeon. This role is open on either a full-time or part-time basis and involves working with cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The position involves managing a full scope of specialty surgery cases, with a strong clinical focus on advanced surgical procedures. The hospital is open to discussing doctor hours, offering flexibility to suit the successful candidate. This role is suited to a residency trained or board-certified Veterinary Surgeon.

Practice Details
This is a 15,500-square-foot, multi-specialty hospital with a dedicated 24/7 emergency department. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, advanced surgical equipment (including minimally invasive techniques), and a full in-house laboratory. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including multi-specialty care and emergency services, with specialized care available in Surgery, Dermatology, Animal Behavior, Acupuncture, and Neurology.

Team
The hospital has a large team of DVMs working across multiple departments, supported by an excellent team of veterinary technicians.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
