Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal, avian and exotic hospital seeking a Veterinary Avian & Exotic Specialist to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role will involve managing a full caseload of avian and exotic patients, ranging from wellness and preventative care through to surgical cases. Doctor hours are open to discussion. Candidates must be residency trained or board-certified in avian and exotic medicine.
Practice Details
The brand new, state-of-the-art hospital is well equipped and provides a full scope of GP services for small animals and exotics, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am–6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am–1:00pm.
Team
The hospital has a team of 3 DVMs alongside a great team of support staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
