Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a large, specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, hiring a Veterinary Radiologist to join a highly advanced, referral-focused practice. This role is open to board-certified or residency-trained radiologists who are passionate about delivering high-level diagnostic imaging and collaborating within a multidisciplinary specialty team.

Working Hours / Rota
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Specific hospital opening hours, individual doctor schedules, weekend coverage, and after-hours requirements are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Radiologist will provide advanced diagnostic imaging interpretation and consultation to support a broad range of specialty and emergency cases. Clinical responsibilities include interpreting radiographs, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound studies, collaborating closely with specialty clinicians, and supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning across departments. The role also involves contributing to a collaborative teaching environment, supporting referring veterinarians, and maintaining high standards of medical documentation and communication. This position is open to experienced veterinarians who are board certified or residency trained in veterinary radiology.

Practice Details
This state-of-the-art specialty hospital spans approximately 28,000 square feet and is designed to support advanced, comprehensive veterinary care. The facility includes sixteen exam rooms, dedicated treatment areas, multiple operating rooms, an oncology ward, and an endoscopy suite. Advanced imaging and diagnostic capabilities include hands-free radiology, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI, and 64-slice CT. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and operates as a VECCS Level III facility, offering a robust infrastructure for complex and high-acuity cases. The practice culture emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within a well-resourced clinical environment.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of seven DVMs and a great tenured support staff. The environment is highly collaborative, with a strong network of specialists and experienced technical teams working together to deliver coordinated, world-class patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
