Introduction
A 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital in Sunset, Utah is looking to welcome a Veterinary Radiologist to its growing team. Serving the wider Greater Salt Lake City area, the hospital combines around-the-clock Emergency care with advanced specialty medicine and has built a strong referral caseload supported by a large, modern facility. This is a great opportunity for a Radiologist who enjoys being closely involved with other specialties and wants to work somewhere where diagnostic imaging plays an important part in collaborative case management.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Veterinary Radiology responsibilities, working with a robust imaging caseload while collaborating closely with the hospital’s Emergency and Specialty teams. You’ll be an important part of the wider clinical picture, using advanced diagnostic imaging to support case management while building strong working relationships with specialists, Emergency clinicians and referring veterinarians. There’s plenty of opportunity to discuss cases and draw on additional expertise when needed, with access to a wider internal Radiology network for consultation and second opinions. This opportunity is suited to a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Radiologist (ACVR) who enjoys collaborative medicine while still having the independence to bring their own experience and clinical judgement to the service.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provides Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Radiology and Surgery, giving the Radiology service a varied caseload across both emergency and specialty medicine. The team works from a modern 15,000 sq. ft. hospital, with equipment and clinical capabilities available including, but not limited to, Digital Radiography, Point-of-Care Ultrasound, CT, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy, High-Flow Oxygen, an In-House Laboratory and Telemetry. The wider Radiology service is also supported by advanced imaging infrastructure including Ambra PACS integrated with Intelerad Clario SmartWorklist and ezyVet, alongside access to standardized imaging technology and dedicated PACS IT support.

Team
You’ll be joining a genuinely multidisciplinary hospital where Radiology works closely with both the Emergency and Specialty teams rather than operating as a completely separate service. The current hospital team includes Emergency Veterinarians alongside specialists in Radiology and Surgery, with experienced clinical team members providing support around the clock. There’s a strong focus on people working together and sharing their expertise, while the wider internal Radiology network gives you another group of colleagues to bounce ideas off or ask for a second opinion when you come across a particularly interesting case. It’s a setup that gives you plenty of independence within your own specialty while still having a considerable amount of clinical experience around you.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
