Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Radiologist to join their established multi-specialty veterinary center. The hospital has served the community for more than thirty years and is dedicated to delivering exceptional specialty and emergency veterinary care while fostering a supportive and collaborative professional environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital provides 24/7 care for urgent patient needs, supporting continuous emergency and specialty services.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Radiologist will work as part of a specialty team, utilizing advanced diagnostic imaging to support case evaluation and treatment planning. The role includes interpreting advanced imaging studies and collaborating with specialists across multiple disciplines to support complex case management. The position is suited to a residency-trained or board-certified veterinary radiologist who is comfortable working with advanced imaging modalities and contributing to a collaborative, progressive medical environment. This role is open to experienced veterinarians.

The hospital is a multi-specialty veterinary center that has served Maine for over thirty years and provides both specialty and emergency veterinary care. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including MRI, a 64-slice GE CT scanner, five ultrasound units, and two dedicated radiology suites. The hospital offers a wide range of specialty services including Cardiology, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Radioactive Iodine Therapy for Hyperthyroid Cats, Regenerative Medicine, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation, Surgery, and Synovetin OA treatments. The practice emphasizes compassionate care, advanced medicine, and a culture that supports professional development and collaboration among veterinary specialists.
Team
The hospital is supported by 30 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a highly collaborative environment where specialists and support staff work closely together to deliver advanced patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
