Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Radiologist to join their team. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and involves working with cats and dogs in a specialist referral setting, delivering advanced diagnostic imaging within a collaborative environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on advanced diagnostic imaging, including interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities to support a wide range of specialty and emergency cases. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with internal medicine, surgery, neurology, oncology, and emergency teams to guide diagnosis and treatment planning. The position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained radiologist who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and values high clinical standards and collaboration.
Practice Details
The hospital is a large emergency and specialty referral center equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging technology including multiple ultrasound units, a 64-slice CT scanner, 1.5T MRI, C-Arm with neurovascular platform, wireless telemetry, ventilators, and volumetric capnography. The facility also includes an on-site reference laboratory with a clinical pathologist. Services offered span a wide range of specialties including internal medicine, neurology, surgery, diagnostic imaging, avian and exotics, emergency and critical care, oncology, and clinical pathology. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
