Introduction
A leading 24/7 Emergency and Specialty hospital in Commerce, Michigan is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Radiologist on a full or part-time basis, to join its growing multidisciplinary team. Serving more than 10,000 patients each year, the hospital provides advanced veterinary care within an established referral environment supported by Emergency veterinarians, board-certified specialists and experienced clinical teams. The position provides the opportunity to develop a Radiology caseload while collaborating with specialists across multiple disciplines and contributing to the continued expansion of the hospital’s specialty capabilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Radiologist will be responsible for providing specialist diagnostic imaging expertise to support the investigation and management of complex medical and surgical cases. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Emergency and specialty colleagues, providing diagnostic interpretation and consultation to support clinical decision-making and coordinated patient management. The position is suited to a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Radiologist and provides access to experienced clinical leadership, advanced technology and a multidisciplinary referral environment. The incoming Radiologist will also have opportunities for continued professional development, specialty collaboration and long-term involvement in the growth of the hospital’s specialist offering.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty facility, serving more than 10,000 patients annually and acting as an extension of care for referring veterinarians throughout Southeast Michigan. The Commerce location currently provides Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Surgery and Urgent Care, supporting the management of complex, referred and critically ill patients within a multidisciplinary hospital environment. Emergency care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with patients able to present directly to the hospital without an appointment.

Team
The hospital currently has an established 11-veterinarian team, led clinically by a Medical Director and supported by a Hospital Director and wider technical, clinical and client service teams. The doctor roster includes multiple veterinarians dedicated to Emergency Medicine, alongside a board-certified Criticalist, a board-certified Neurologist and specialist surgical expertise, including a board-certified Veterinary Surgeon. The incoming Radiologist will join this established multidisciplinary environment, working closely with Emergency and specialty colleagues to support the diagnosis and management of referred and complex cases.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
