Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Radiologist to join its specialty referral team. The practice is a multi-specialty emergency and referral hospital providing advanced veterinary care to pets and is hiring an experienced radiologist to support the continued expansion of its specialty services.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a hospital that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Specific doctor hours are to be discussed with the practice. The role is based within a specialty and emergency setting designed to support continuous patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Radiologist will provide advanced diagnostic imaging services within a collaborative, multi-specialty hospital environment. Clinical responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, supporting accurate and timely diagnoses, and collaborating closely with emergency clinicians and specialty teams to guide patient care. The role also involves contributing to a team-based care model, supporting the education of interns, residents, and veterinary staff, and upholding high standards of compassionate, specialty-level care. This position is suited to an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained veterinary radiologist.

Practice Details
The hospital is a busy, well-established multi-specialty referral and emergency center serving Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts, with locations in Buzzards Bay and Dennis. The practice supports a wide range of specialty services and is continuing to expand its specialty offerings. Facilities are designed to support advanced diagnostic imaging within a referral setting. Services offered include 24/7 emergency care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, zoo and exotics medicine, blood bank services, and end-of-life care. The culture emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and excellent patient outcomes.

Team
The team consists of thirty-eight DVMs supported by a large and highly skilled support staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with specialists across multiple disciplines working together to deliver comprehensive referral-level care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
