Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Radiation Oncologist to join their specialty team. This is a full-time opportunity within a collaborative, supportive, and highly respected environment dedicated to advanced oncology care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Radiation Oncologist will be responsible for providing advanced oncology care, including diagnostics, staging, radiation therapy, and collaboration with other specialists. Duties include performing and overseeing radiation oncology treatment, consulting with clients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis, and supporting a comprehensive approach to cancer management. This position is suited for an experienced professional who is board-certified or residency-trained.

This is a state-of-the-art specialty hospital offering advanced diagnostic and oncology services. The facility is fully equipped to provide staging diagnostics, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and palliative care when appropriate. The culture emphasizes collaboration, mutual respect, and teamwork across multiple specialties to deliver the highest level of patient care.

Team
The hospital has 19 DVMs supported by a skilled and experienced technical team. The environment is highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary case management and team support.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
