Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join their advanced specialty team on a full-time basis, with part-time availability also considered. This multi-specialty referral center delivers world-class veterinary medicine across a broad range of disciplines and is looking for an experienced ophthalmologist to provide high-level specialty care within a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Ophthalmologist will provide advanced diagnostic and surgical ophthalmology services for companion animals. Clinical responsibilities include comprehensive ophthalmic examinations, medical and surgical case management, collaboration with multidisciplinary specialists, and maintaining detailed medical records. The role involves working alongside specialists in cardiology, oncology, surgery, and internal medicine to deliver integrated patient care. This opportunity is open to experienced, board-certified or residency-trained ophthalmologists who are dedicated to providing world-class medicine and contributing to a collaborative hospital culture.

Practice Details
This full-service specialty and advanced care hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology including CT scans, digital radiology, ultrasound, echocardiography, EKG, endoscopy, laparoscopy, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, advanced anesthetic monitoring, surgical suites, isolation ward, intensive care, oxygen and transfusion therapy capabilities, and Tonopen diagnostics. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including cardiology, oncology, chemotherapy, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, urology, advanced dental care including root canals, emergency care, internal medicine, preventive care, geriatric medicine, hospitalization, and full diagnostics. The environment supports multidisciplinary collaboration and high standards of patient care.

The hospital currently has 18 DVMs and a tenured support team, fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on delivering exceptional specialty and referral care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
