Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join their team. This small animal specialty practice focuses exclusively on ophthalmology, providing advanced eye care services to a diverse patient population, including dogs, cats, horses, and exotic animals.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There are no on-call or weekend duties, offering a predictable and balanced work schedule. The position is full-time, with flexibility to discuss your ideal rota.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Ophthalmologist will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of ocular conditions, performing specialized ophthalmic surgeries, and collaborating with referring veterinarians to provide comprehensive eye care. This role is open to both experienced specialists and those who are board-eligible, with mentorship and support available to facilitate professional growth.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
