Job Description

Introduction
A well-established specialty and emergency hospital in Bellevue, Washington is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join its collaborative, multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice advanced medicine within a high-acuity referral environment that places strong emphasis on culture, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

The hospital operates as a full specialty and emergency facility, with a flexible schedule designed to support a consistent referral caseload while promoting work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Ophthalmologist will manage a diverse caseload of complex ocular cases, performing advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures while collaborating closely with specialists and emergency clinicians, contributing to case discussions, and supporting a high standard of patient care and clinical development across the hospital.

Practice Details
This is a fully equipped specialty hospital offering advanced diagnostic capabilities including CT imaging, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory, enabling high-level case management within a structured and progressive referral setting.

Team
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, internists, oncologists, cardiology, radiology, a clinical pathologist, and emergency clinicians, working within a culture that prioritizes collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
