Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Palm Beach, Florida hiring a Medical Oncologist to join a large, state-of-the-art 24/7 emergency and referral center. The hospital provides world-class specialty medicine supported by advanced technology, expansive facilities, and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24/7, with flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing oncology care within a leading specialty hospital. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and managing oncologic conditions while collaborating closely with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, radiation oncology, neurology, emergency, and critical care. This position is suited to experienced, residency-trained, or board-certified Medical Oncologists.

Practice Details
The hospital is a 34,000 sq. ft. award-winning facility equipped with MRI, CT, I-131 treatment, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, electrodiagnostics, a linear accelerator, an in-house reference laboratory, and a blood bank. It also houses the Palm Coast Education Center with a 125-seat auditorium, a large conference room, and a meeting hall dedicated to continuing education for veterinarians and paraprofessionals. Services span radiation oncology, advanced anesthetic monitoring, minimally invasive and reconstructive surgery, neurology, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, diagnostic imaging, physical rehabilitation, pain management, and cardiology. The hospital culture emphasizes excellence, collaboration, advanced training, and access to a robust specialist network.

Team
The team includes 14 DVMs supported by a great support staff in a collaborative, specialty-driven environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
