Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an experienced Veterinary Oncologist to join their 24-hour specialty and emergency referral team in Upland, California. This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained oncologist to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment dedicated to compassionate and high-quality patient care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates seven days a week and provides 24/7 emergency care. This is a full-time position with flexibility built in to support a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The oncologist will be responsible for managing oncology cases from diagnosis through treatment, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, and providing clear, compassionate communication with clients. This position is suited to experienced candidates who thrive in a specialty hospital setting and are committed to clinical excellence and teamwork.
Practice Details
The hospital features a newly renovated facility equipped with a full in-house laboratory, high-quality ultrasound, continuous ECG telemetry, digital radiography, a complete range of endoscopy equipment, and a Class II NuAire Biosafety Cabinet. Diagnostic services include bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, and imaging. The in-house pharmacy ensures fast access to prescribed medications. The hospital is designed to deliver high-level care in a supportive, modern environment.

The team includes multiple registered veterinary technicians and experienced emergency veterinarians working within a culture of collaboration, transparency, and mutual respect. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
