Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join their specialty and emergency center in Ontario, California. This position is suited for a board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist who will join a modern, technologically advanced facility supported by a multidisciplinary team and an established oncology referral base.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Full-time or part-time availability is offered.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Medical Oncologist will join an established oncology service with access to a strong referral base, trained oncology support staff, and extensive diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Clinical responsibilities include providing advanced oncology care supported by technologies such as MRI, CT with automatic injector, fluoroscopy, laparoscopic and thoracoscopic instrumentation, endoscopy, multiple ultrasound units, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. The role involves collaborating with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, radiation oncology, radiology, emergency and critical care, and neurology. This position is open to board-certified or residency-trained clinicians.

Practice Details
The hospital is a modern 14,000 square foot facility featuring 10 exam rooms, 3 surgical suites, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, fluoroscopy, laparoscopic and thoracoscopic instrumentation, endoscopy, multiple ultrasounds, computed tomography with automatic injector, and an in-house laboratory. Specialty departments include cardiology, diagnostic imaging/radiology, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, and surgery. The practice maintains a comprehensive referral caseload supported by a successful rotating internship program and a network of three specialty and critical care facilities across Southern California. The hospital provides continuous emergency care and advanced specialty services within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Team
The hospital team consists of 15 DVMs supported by 39 assistants/RVTs and 28 additional support staff. The environment is collaborative, with board-certified specialists, emergency clinicians, and trained oncology support personnel working together to deliver high-level specialty and emergency care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
