Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a specialty veterinary hospital seeking a Board-Certified or Residency Trained Medical Oncologist to join their dynamic team. This small animal practice is focused on delivering exceptional specialty and emergency care in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values clinical excellence, innovation, and strong professional partnerships.
Working Hours / Rota
The position offers a highly desirable Monday through Thursday schedule, promoting a healthy work-life balance with no weekend or after-hours requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Oncologist will be responsible for all typical GP oncology duties and responsibilities within a purpose-built oncology wing. This includes working closely with a dedicated oncology team to deliver efficient, high-quality care and collaborating with other in-house specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment planning. The role is open to board-certified candidates and those who are residency trained, offering a supportive environment to advance your professional growth.
Practice Details
The hospital features a custom-designed oncology space that includes a private patient and client area, a specialized treatment wing with an advanced Idexx lab, a chemotherapy hood, kennels, and a private office. Services offered include advanced diagnostics and treatment options across multiple specialties. Team

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
