Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Hollywood, Florida hiring a Veterinary Oncologist to join a 24/7 emergency, specialty, and general practice. The hospital provides world-class medical care supported by advanced technology, comprehensive specialty services, and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24/7, allowing flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves delivering oncology care within a busy multi-specialty environment. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and managing oncologic conditions, utilizing advanced diagnostic imaging and treatment technologies, and collaborating closely with specialists in dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, and emergency and critical care. This role is suited to experienced, residency-trained, or board-certified oncologists.

Practice Details
The hospital offers extensive specialty services and is equipped with three ultrasound units, video endoscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, bronchoscopy, arthroscopy, ventilators, high-flow oxygen, and advanced anesthetic and critical care monitoring systems. Additional equipment includes a 64-slice CT scanner, two digital X-ray units, Ligasure vessel sealing equipment, an in-house laboratory, underwater and land treadmills, therapeutic laser, ultrasound, EMS, TENS, and complete blood products. The facility provides a wide array of advanced care, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dermatology, and feline hyperthyroidism services. Primary care offerings include dentistry, hospice care, internal medicine, oxygen and transfusion therapy, pain management, preventive medicine, microchipping, parasite control, vaccinations, and wellness care. The hospital also offers rotating internships and a surgical internship program and provides access to a broad specialist network.

Team
The hospital has 23 DVMs supported by a large and diverse clinical and support team within a collaborative and education-focused culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
