Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for a Veterinary Oncologist. This is a multi-specialty and emergency practice providing advanced, comprehensive care within a collaborative, high-level clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
Referral services operate Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the hospital providing 24/7 emergency care. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage oncology cases as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering advanced diagnostics, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care. You will collaborate closely with specialists across surgery, internal medicine, emergency, and rehabilitation to ensure comprehensive patient management. Responsibilities include developing treatment protocols, monitoring patients throughout therapy, and maintaining clear communication with referring veterinarians and clients. The role is suited to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This hospital has been serving the community for over 30 years and operates from a modern, purpose-built 12,000-square-foot facility designed to support a high-volume and complex caseload. The facility includes 12 exam rooms, a spacious ICU with 24-hour staffing, and separate hospitalization areas including feline wards, intermediate care wards, and an isolation ward. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including an on-site CT scanner, digital radiography, GE Logiq ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, Snyder oxygen cages, and comprehensive in-house laboratory capabilities. Additional equipment supports a wide range of procedures including minimally invasive surgery, advanced orthopedics, and oncology treatments such as I-131 radioactive iodine therapy. A fully equipped rehabilitation suite includes an underwater treadmill, k-laser, e-stim, and exercise equipment. The practice offers services across emergency care, critical care, internal medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, behavior, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, and radioiodine therapy, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate, and collaborative care.

Team
The hospital has 11 DVMs supported by a strong and tenured support team, including board-certified specialists and emergency clinicians, creating a highly collaborative and skilled working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
