Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital hiring for a Veterinary Medical Oncologist. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and is seeking a board certified or residency trained oncologist to deliver comprehensive medical oncology services within a well-established specialty setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24/7, with specialty services offered Monday to Friday. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role can be structured as either full-time or part-time depending on candidate preference.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Medical Oncologist will provide the full scope of medical oncology services for canine and feline patients. This position is open to board certified or residency trained candidates only.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and provides 24/7 emergency services alongside specialties in Internal Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, and Surgery. You will have access to all the technology and equipment needed to deliver excellent patient care, in addition to the support of a highly trained ICU nursing team available 24/7.

Team
You will be joining a huge team of doctors across multiple departments, supported by a well trained team of support staff, fostering a collaborative environment across the hospital.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
