Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing emergency and specialty care for cats and dogs. They are currently hiring a Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join their dedicated and collaborative team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24/7, ensuring continuous patient care. Oncology appointments are scheduled Monday to Friday daytimes allowing for a tailored work-life balance. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available to suit individual preferences and lifestyle needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves managing a diverse oncology caseload, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care for cancer patients. Responsibilities include chemotherapy administration, client communication, and collaboration with other specialties to deliver comprehensive patient care. Candidates must be residency trained or board certified in medical oncology. The position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about advancing oncology services and delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
