Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour specialty hospital dedicated to the care of cats and dogs, currently seeking a full-time board-certified or residency-trained Neurologist to join their growing team.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a hospital that operates 24 hours a day. Specific doctor schedules are not outlined, but the role aligns with the hospital’s continuous operations, indicating potential for a consistent and structured full-time rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Neurologist will focus exclusively on neurological cases in a high-acuity, specialty setting. Responsibilities are centered on diagnosing and managing neurological disorders, coordinating advanced imaging and diagnostics, and delivering high-level inpatient and outpatient care.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including fluoroscopy, endoscopy, wound vac, HBOT, EMG, ICU ventilator, and a video otoscope. Facilities include seven exam rooms, two ultrasound suites, onsite MRI, and a 128-slice CT. Services offered include Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery, supported by a fully operational 24/7 emergency specialty infrastructure.

Team
The hospital team includes 11 DVMs supported by a tenured, experienced support staff. The environment fosters strong collaboration across specialties, with a focus on teamwork and quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
