A 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a full-time Veterinary Neurologist to expand a thriving neurology and neurosurgery service. This role offers a high-acuity caseload, modern technology, and close collaboration with a respected multi-specialty team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates around the clock, and specialist schedules are tailored to support sustainable full-time coverage. Rotations are designed to balance consultation, procedures, inpatient management, and collaborative rounds.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Neurologist will manage medical and surgical neurology cases, perform advanced diagnostics, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and oversee inpatient neurocritical care. Responsibilities include collaborating with emergency and specialty colleagues, communicating clearly with referring veterinarians and clients, and contributing to teaching and mentorship of doctors and technical staff.

This large, modern facility is equipped for advanced neurology and neurosurgery, with on-site imaging, dedicated anesthesia and ICU support, and integrated access to 24/7 emergency services. Additional specialties include Cardiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Surgery, ensuring seamless multidisciplinary care.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
