Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Neurologist to join its specialty team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital is a respected referral center providing specialty and emergency services for more than 25 years. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist looking to practice alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Neurologist, you will diagnose and treat neurological disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, muscles, and peripheral nerves while collaborating closely with emergency clinicians and fellow specialists. You will perform comprehensive neurological consultations, develop individualized treatment plans, and work alongside primary care veterinarians to ensure coordinated patient care. The role includes managing cases involving weakness, paralysis, seizures, back and neck pain, gait abnormalities, balance disorders, neuro-oncology, epilepsy, and neurosurgery. This position is suited to an experienced board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist who thrives in a fast-paced specialty environment, enjoys collaboration, and is passionate about mentoring and delivering exceptional patient care.

Practice Details
The hospital is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Neurology Department specializes in both medical neurology and neurosurgery and is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including an on-site 1.5T MRI, helical quad-slice CT scanner, and digital radiography. Services include full neurologic consultations, brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgery, epilepsy and seizure management, neuro-oncologic diagnosis and treatment, and rehabilitation and physical therapy, including an underwater treadmill. The hospital has built strong referral relationships over more than 25 years and fosters a supportive culture that values continuing education, professional development, collaboration, and inclusion.

Team
The practice is home to 8 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The multidisciplinary environment encourages collaboration between specialists and emergency clinicians, creating an excellent setting for delivering advanced referral care while supporting professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
