Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a Veterinary Neurologist to join a 24-hour emergency and specialty practice providing care to dogs and cats. The hospital is seeking an experienced, board-certified or residency-trained neurologist to deliver advanced care within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on advanced neurology, including diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions and collaborating with other specialty departments. Responsibilities include performing neurological evaluations, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostics, managing hospitalized cases, and working closely with referring veterinarians and clients to provide comprehensive care. The position requires strong communication skills and collaboration across teams to maintain high clinical standards. This role is suited to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
Our client is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital operating from a 14,000 square foot facility equipped with advanced technology including continuous ECG monitoring, a full laboratory, critical care ventilator, ultrasound, CT, MRI, full endoscopic capabilities, laparoscopy, and digital radiography. The hospital offers specialty services including internal medicine, surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology, clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging, and emergency and critical care. The practice is AAHA-accredited and provides access to a broader network of specialists, supporting a high standard of care and collaboration across disciplines.

Team
The team consists of 8 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative, with specialists across multiple disciplines working together to deliver advanced patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
